Terms and Conditions
These terms describe the launch pilot relationship for CouriB, including tenant responsibilities, CouriB's service role, operator obligations, acceptable use, and the signed pilot operator agreement.
Parties and Roles
The courier tenant is the responsible party for its customer, delivery, invoice, proof-of-delivery, and driver data. CouriB acts as operator when it hosts and processes that tenant data to provide dispatch, tracking, billing, route, and driver workflow services.
CouriB is the responsible party for direct CouriB account, billing, support, marketing, platform administration, and employment-related data that it decides to collect and use for its own purposes.
POPIA Section 21 Operator Clause
When CouriB processes personal information as an operator for a tenant, CouriB will process that information only with the tenant's knowledge or authorisation, treat it as confidential, apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, and notify the tenant without undue delay if CouriB has reasonable grounds to believe that tenant personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person.
Acceptable Use
Tenants must only upload or process data they are legally allowed to process. Tenants remain responsible for their own customer notices, driver monitoring notices, employment obligations, and Information Officer duties.
Pilot Operator Agreement
Hand-held pilot onboarding must include a signed operator agreement or order form that incorporates these terms, the section 21 operator clause, the privacy notice, commercial terms, support expectations, and each party's breach-notification contacts.
